What is the BestAgent Marketplace:
An Open Platform that will allow all agents instant online access to any PropTech, or other industry supplier, from one “Marketplace” location. The BestAgent Marketplace will be the first online “department store” where agents will be able to order, buy or sign up to any participating product or service. Individual agencies will be able to choose precise products or services that suit their business, from an integrated platform with a single log-in to access everything.
What does this mean for suppliers:
It means integration. The marketplace will be the place where all agents can access all suppliers via all CRMs with only one connection needed. In order for this to happen, suppliers have to be integrated with the BestAgent Marketplace.
What has happened so far:
On the 26th of September 2018, BestAgent invited 70 industry suppliers to attend a conference to discuss the release of the BestAgent Marketplace . The objective of the conference, was to discuss the technical, commercial and legal challenges presented in the creation of such a marketplace and to increase dialogue between the industry’s technology suppliers and help make their products more accessible to estate agents. On the 14th of November BestAgent held a second meeting for its first primary partners in the iconic Lloyd’s Insurance building in London. The objective of the meeting was to agree on a launch plan that includes successfully connecting our primary partners’ products or services to the BestAgent Marketplace. You can read more here.
