Activating a Real-Time property data feed to Rightmove, Zoopla, & OnTheMarket.
This is a complete guide to help estate and lettings agents, that have an active BestAgent account, how to send your properties in real-time to Rightmove, OnTheMarket, and Zoopla. These are pre-installed portal feeds, meaning that you only need to activate them, and notify the portals that we will be taking over the feeds as your new provider.

Log in to your BestAgent account then click the ‘Hamburger’ menu in the top right corner. Find ‘Settings’ in the options list and click, this will take you to the main ‘Settings’ menu page, from here, find ‘Manage Portals’ and click.
1.1 – What is the ‘Manage Portals’ Page?
From this page, you are able to activate your portal feeds. There are 3 ‘pre-installed’ real-time feeds for Rightmove, Zoopla, & OnTheMarket. Also, if you have chosen to not use your free BestAgent website, you have the option to add a Website portal feed. Additionally, you are able to add as many ‘custom’ feeds as you need, there is no charge for additional uploads.
2 – Adding your Branch ID if you already have an active Rightmove subscription.
In the ‘Manage Portals’ page find the Rightmove box, this will contain a button labelled ‘Activate’ when you click that you will be asked if you have uploaded all of your live properties. If you have not yet done this, please make sure you do before activating the feed as the BestAgent feed will overwrite any information sent to Rightmove.
Once you’re happy that all your live properties are in BestAgent click ‘Yes, I have uploaded all my live properties’.
You will then be taken to the Branch ID page, BestAgent will then check Rightmove looking for your company name if we find your company we will automatically add your Branch ID.
Select your company, then click ‘Next’.
If we cannot find your Branch ID you have the option to add them manually, once you’ve input them into the sales/lettings fields click ‘Next’ to continue.
2.1 – Notifying Rightmove of your new data feed.
Once you have added your branch ID and clicked ‘Next’ you will be taken to a page in which you can notify Rightmove of your new Datafeed.
On this page, you have 2 options:
Email Portal:
If you click this option your main email client will automatically open, and a new email will appear with Rightmove added in the ‘To’ field and BestAgendt cc’d in. All you have to do is click ‘Send’ and then wait for a response from Rightmove.
You can copy & paste the prefilled text on the page into an email to Rightmove. You can email them directly at adfsupport@rightmove.co.uk, please add support@bestagent.online into the cc field so that we can be notified of any problems.
Once you’ve chosen one of those 2 options click ‘Finish’.
We cannot start feeding data through until we have had confirmation from Rightmove, once we receive that confirmation we will activate the feed.
2.2 – Activating your Rightmove Real-Time feed if you do not have an active Rightmove account.
First, you will need to contact Rightmove to set up your subscription, once active you will be given your Branch IDs and they will contact BestAgent to confirm that we will be sending your property data.
Once you have your Branch IDs and Rightmove have confirmed the new feed and that all your live properties are ready to go go to the Manage Portals section of the Settings menu item (See 1 in this guide) and click Activate on the pre-installed Rightmove option.
Select Enter Manually and then input the branch IDs and click Next, you will then be directed to the ‘Email Portal’ page, as you have already notified Rightmove of your intention to use BestAgent as you feed provider you won’t need to perform any actions on this page. You can navigate away from the page using the Menu button, or, you can click ‘Finish’ to be taken back to the ‘Manage Portals’ page.
3 – Activating your OnTheMarket Real-Time feed.
If you currently don’t have an active OnTheMarket subscription you will need to contact them directly, set up an account, and obtain your Branch ID. Once you’ve done this or if you already know your Branch ID continue to the next step.
3.1 – Adding your Branch ID.
In the ‘Manage Portals’ page find the OnTheMarket box, this will contain a button labeled ‘Activate’ when you click that you will be asked if you have uploaded all of your live properties. If you have not yet done this, please make sure you do before activating the feed as the BestAgent feed will overwrite any information sent to OnTheMarket.
Once you’re happy that all your live properties are in BestAgent click ‘Yes, I have uploaded all my live properties’.
3.2 – Notifying OnTheMarket about your new feed provider.
Once you have added your branch ID and clicked ‘Next’ you will be taken to a page in which you can notify OnTheMarket of your new Datafeed.
On this page, you have 2 options:
1. Email Portal:
If you click this option your main email client will automatically open, and a new email will appear with On The Market added in the ‘To’ field and BestAgent cc’d in. All you have to do is click ‘Send’ and then wait for a response from OnTheMarket.
2. You can copy & paste the prefilled text on the page into an email to OnTheMarket. You can email them directly at support@onthemarket.com, please add support@bestagent.online into the cc field so that we can be notified of any problems.
Once you’ve chosen one of those 2 options click ‘Finish’.

4 – Adding your Branch ID if you already have an active Zoopla subscription.
In the ‘Manage Portals’ page find the Zoopla box, this will contain a button labeled ‘Activate’ when you click that you will be asked if you have uploaded all of your live properties. If you have not yet done this, please make sure you do before activating the feed as the BestAgent feed will overwrite any information sent to Zoopla.
Once you’re happy that all your live properties are in BestAgent click ‘Yes, I have uploaded all my live properties’
You will then be taken to the Branch ID page, BestAgent will then check Zoopla looking for your company name if we find your company we will automatically add your Branch ID.
Select your company, then click ‘Next’.

4.2 – Activating your Zoopla Real-Time feed if you do not have an active Zoopla account.
