I spend all week live streaming to tens of thousands of strangers with no issue, But talking to you guys is terrifying. Okay. I'm trying to hit many birds with one stone here. First and foremost, this is a quick update for the existing friends and family investors into BestAgent. It is also a last call to those of you who were wavering, hadn't made up your mind, or maybe didn't know about it. It's Saturday, October 24, and this round closes hard on the November 1, which is next Sunday.
Alright? And the purpose of this is just to make sure nobody could turn around to me and say, but, Charlie, you never told me about this. A lot of you seeing this might… This might be the first you've heard about BestAgent and what's been going on. We have a dozen, 15 investors so far in the friends and family round who are all on track if things go to plan to make about 10 times their money back over the next ten years. This is because it's the friends and family rate, the mates rates, who've already put their money in.
And in this video, I wanna give you the basic background and what you can do if you want to find out more about it. And including, by the way, existing investors who've already put money in, you might, after you've heard this update, actually wanna top up while it… While the going is still good at this rate. Because on the November 1, the cost of revenue share chips effectively doubles. Now I'm not gonna get into the forecasts, and numbers on this video. I'm leaving that for Alex Groundwater, my fellow old Brambletye compadre from the eighties, and also advisory board, member of BestAgent, who's gonna do a live investor video call at 08:00 [8pm] on October 29, which is next Thursday.
For anyone who wants to… Who who wants to hear who wants to hear him talk about the numbers, he will be running through the forecasts and the investment chip, how they work, and the payout on those. Anyone who wants to find out more about this, just look at this link. It's linked in the description below this video as well. It's bestagent.co.uk/what-is-bestagent. And on that page, if you wanna find out more, there's a box so you can put your email address in.
And provided you are a known email address, someone in my contacts, you'll get an automatic reply with a copy of the financials, your own copy of the spreadsheet so you can go and vary the assumptions and tweak it and see just how insanely high the margins are in a tech based marketplace business, hence the very large payouts. It's also got… We'll have attached to it a copy of the term sheet of the friends and family investment round, and it will have a diary invite to the investor video call with Alex Groundwater on Thursday. Alright? So, literally, go to that link. If you want to find out more, wanna see the the projections for yourself, see the term sheet, and get the invite link to the video call, just put your email address in the in the field on that page, hit send, check your inbox.
Provided we know who you are, you'll get a reply. And if you don't or if you're emailing from an email address that I don't recognize, it's just gonna ask you to to explain, double check who you are, and flag it so I can check. Because we don't want there are plenty of people that we don't want looking at this stuff. That's what I've already found out. I'm not gonna spend a lot on this video. The the updates, if you're an existing investor, go to that link right there.
And at the top of the page, you will see the key updates of what we've achieved in the last six months. And we are on track, slightly ahead of track, in fact, on most fronts. The major, major piece of news, which nobody saw coming was that thanks to the most recent AI harnesses, It's completely eliminated our need for the next major funding round, and it's accelerated our product development and our customer service ramp up. It is mind blowing. It is mind blowing. Six months ago, I didn't know it'd be possible.
We're using GrokBot. We've got 22 different roles covered by it. It's worth about £750,000 a year already what we're doing, and we're only gonna be growing that. It's mind blowing what that's done, and it's really speeding things up for us, which is great. Roughly speaking, for those of you who don't like to click on and read about it, the friends and family investment round is minimum £5k, maximum £25k in multiples of the cool part about it is unlike most startups, no dilution, exit anytime, and it's got an actual cash payout because you're not buying equity, you are buying revenue share. So it's a share…
It's a payout, which is a share of top line revenues, not profits. I haven't got to worry about operating costs, that kind of stuff. That's all I really need to say at this point. For the… I mean, this is going up because at the ripe old age now, I'm in my mid fifties. I've got a burgeoning family just growing all over the world, people everywhere.
I've got friends scattered to the four corners of the globe. I've got decades worth of business associates mostly in the UK, but some of you are also now abroad. And clients, former clients, all that kind of stuff. So I just wanted to make sure no one who consider themselves friends or family was left out of this invitation. And as a very wise person once told me, Mr Andrew Tillard himself, who is a member of the advisory board as well, never refuse an offer before it's made. And so, for those of you who just don't want to do this, that's cool.
But just make sure you've checked out what you're turning down before you turn it down or dismiss it. Okay? Please just make sure you've you've checked it out because it it is a bit remarkable. Is it out of the blue? Yes. Because I haven't talked about it much.
But I spent ten years building a housing transaction marketplace for the UK. It's got nine partner businesses involved including two government agencies, HM Land Registry and Ordnance Survey. And if it goes to plan, we're projecting 9 figure revenues, which will still be less than Rightmove and Zoopla even though we'll be snapping at their heels, with… But with with higher margins than both of them. Alright. I think I'm gonna leave it there.
So click that link in the description below or go to bestagent.co.uk/what-is-bestagent. To all of those of you who I said, hey. I'll give you a call, talk you through it. I'm really sorry. It… I have never been more overwhelmed in my life, but for good reasons.
Lots of love and luck to everyone who hasn't seen friends or family for a long time. Hope you're well. Say hi anyway if you saw this, even if it's no chance, Charlie, but just hi anyway. That'd love… Be lovely to hear from everybody. And, yeah, the last thing worth mentioning for those of you that wonder what I'm talking about, among the investors we've already got in BestAgent are chief executive of very large estate agents in the UK, Verona Frankish from Yopa, Daniel Daggers, who is the ex-Knight Frank, founder of DDRE Global and the presenter of the Netflix show Buying London, and probably the single best estate agent in the whole of the UK by any metric you want to measure.
The inimitable Rory Sutherland. Yes. He of Ogilvy and Mather fame is the vice chairman of Ogilvy for twenty years. He's now the president emeritus, I think, of Ogilvy, is on the advisory board and has invested in BestAgent. And I will never forget his line the first time we spoke about this just over a year ago. If you get this right, you could add one or 2% to UK GDP.
He was the first person to understand the scale of this, mission and vision. And and plenty of others. We've got, media journalists. We've got financial journalists. We've got tech CEOs who've invested. Hi.
You know who you are, guys. So it's a great crowd. It's a really impressive crowd. Look. Take a look at the advisory board, and, I hope to hear from you. Thanks, guys.
Bye bye. Lots of love.
