The returns appear abnormally high, but are in fact typical for software-based marketplace businesses.
Before we approach experienced angel investors and Venture Capitalists, I wanted to offer everyone who has helped me in any way the opportunity to participate from the ‘ground floor’ at half the price the professional investors will be paying, or on terms twice as good.
This isn’t a request for investment and I make no assumption that you either are or aren’t in a position to make an investment.
It’s an invitation, an offer, on a first come, first served basis for anyone who would like to help while offering a return on your money equivalent to that of major tech startups.
It’s really important to me that no one who would have liked to participate feels left out. I’d much rather you declined the invitation now, than to later discover you missed out and would have liked to invest.
Compared with most startups the anticipated returns may seem unrealistically high. Software based marketplace businesses are unusual in that they don’t have inventory, stock, or costs of sales. We provide an environment for others to connect and transact. We then take a commission on multiple different revenue streams.
So our gross margins are very high, more than 90%, and automatically billed and collected.
Combine those high margins with the high ticket price of the items being traded (homes and related professional services) and the high profitability starts to make sense.
Now we need to build the leadership team to bring it to market.
We have a truly exceptional Advisory Board, unparalleled in the property sector.
We also have a powerful selection of partner companies, plus two government agencies, all of which help to deliver the faster home transactions everyone wants.

Finally, we have cultivated some important connections with national media and have had multiple shows of support, when we’re ready for it, which will bring the marketplace to life.

Reply to the personal message you received from me with the amount you’d like to invest. I will reply with the bank details, full T’s and C’s and a unique Reference number for you. You will of course also get a full written confirmation/certificate of your investment.
Choose your amount (min £5k, max £25k) in £5k multiples, and deposit it directly into the BestAgent Ltd bank account.
The closing deadline is soon, 31st May, so that we can get started on the next phase (a 7-figure funding round with venture investors).

2. Video Conference – Tuesday 19th May at 6pm along with Alex Groundwater (our COO) I will be hosting a private video call with a brief overview of the opportunity for all who’d like to put any questions to us. I recommend everyone attend this private call if you are even slightly interested.
3. In Person Meet-Up – Thursday 21st May at 6pm in Battersea, Alex and I will be hosting a meet up for any of you who’d like to meet in person and discuss the opportunity any further. Overseas people may be able to join remotely.
